Care & Handling
Fine art pieces are created using the best quality materials available. However, they are not impervious to scratches are chips. When moving, transferring, or re-arranging pay extra attention to wrapping the artwork and protecting its surface.
Acrylic Prints
-
Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals. Some cleaners can embed dirt into the surface and generate static electricity that attracts more dust. For cleaning, we recommend eyeglass cleaner (for resin lenses) or Brillianize, which is non-toxic, anti-static, alcohol-free, and ammonia-free.
-
Use a microfiber or soft cotton cloth to dust your prints. If the cloth has a tag, avoid using that side to polish the surface to prevent scratches.
Do not use paper towels for cleaning. -
Avoid displaying acrylic prints in high-humidity areas such as bathrooms. These environments are more suitable for metal prints.
-
Keep acrylic prints out of direct sunlight. They are designed for indoor display only.
-
Never place the print face down on any surface that could scratch it.
Metal Prints
-
Follow the same care principles as acrylic prints.
-
Do not use solvents or harsh cleaners. As with acrylic, some chemicals can embed dirt or generate static.
-
Use a microfiber or soft cotton cloth only, avoiding any tags or rough edges.
-
Do not place metal prints face down on any potentially abrasive surfaces.
-
Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity. Metal prints are UV-resistant but still best displayed indoors under controlled conditions.
Environment
-
Avoid direct sunlight and excessive humidity, both of which can damage prints over time. While the materials used are UV-resistant, we still recommend displaying your art in a stable indoor environment, away from high temperatures and moisture.
